Anne-Marie Duff, an English actress, who also writes stories is a highly talented actress. Duff began her career in television in late 1990s after graduating Drama Centre London. She appeared in Trial & Retribution Amongst Women and Aristocrats. Anne-Marie Duff was born 8th October 1970, located in Chiswick London. Anne-Marie Duff is a stage and film actress from the UK. She gained fame as Fiona Gallagher, the lead character on UK TV's Shameless for its first two seasons. The Virgin Queen (2006) saw her play the role of Queen Elizabeth in The Virgin Queen, and she also performed the principal part from From Darkness (2015). Duff is known for her roles on the television series Enigma (2002) The Magdalene Sisters French Film (2008) The Last Station Nowhere Boy Before I Sleep (2014), and Suffragette. Her roles on the screen in Shameless The Virgin Queen Nowhere Boy and Suffragette have earned the BAFTA nominations for both the Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress categories. In addition, she was given an award called the BAFTA Cymru Award for Best Actress due to her role in the 2007 television film The History of Mr Polly. Anne-Marie Duff has been a highly successful and award-winning English actor who made her mark on the TV, stage and on the radio. Her fame was largely due to her performances in the role of Fiona Gallagher on the British comedy drama show Shameless and as Queen Elizabeth in The Virgin Queen. Anne-Marie is also an accomplished stage actor, having spent over two decades of experience on the stage. She has performed extensively with The Royal National Theatre.
